HD Academy Basketball was created in 2016 to help inspire and motivate youth to stay active through sports.
HD stands for Higher Development. It is not as simple as just teaching someone to play basketball but we also strive to motivated the youth to work hard in all areas of their lives. Being a kid comes with tremendous challenges and it's important to give them tools to help them overcome them.
We aim to one day be one of the biggest sports development academy in Canada.
We plan on achieving that objective by partnerships with like minded organisation and by building long lasting programs.

Private and Semi-Private
For players that are lacking in specific skills, we offer private and semi-private basketball sessions.

My goals were simple when I created the HD Academy.
To inspire as many people as I could to work hard and build confidence in themselves.
The Higher Development Academy is program that has many sides to it, we do sports, art, and mentorship.
Basketball has been in my life for as long as I can remember,
it has helped me with a lot in my life and I believe it can help others as well.
I coach and mentor the young to be content with who they are and to strive to be the person they want to be.
I encourage them to speak their minds and to ask questions.
When I first started I told myself that if I could at least inspire one person to work hard and be happy with themselves,
then I would be happy
